Simpex has supported Transaid as a Corporate Member since 2020 and continues to pledge its support for this extremely worthwhile cause, alongside its commitment to donate at least £1 from every booking received.

Transaid transforms lives through safe, available, and sustainable transport. Transaid’s work in solving transport related challenges in economically developing countries saves lives and provides brighter futures for countless people in this generation and beyond.

A very worthwhile cause and with a strong link to our own business, this was an easy choice when considering our charitable beneficiaries this year.

Founded by Save the Children, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and its Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, the international development organisation shares 25 years’ worth of expertise in 23 countries with partners and governments – empowering people to build the skills they need to transform their own lives.

Transaid works with partners and governments to train drivers, improve standards and strengthen transport systems. Their stated aim is to help empower people so they’re able to work more safely and access vital services such as health care.
